Torticollis

Does your child tilt or turn their head to one side more than the other? Or does your nursing baby prefer to nurse on one side only? These signs can alert you to the need for Physical Therapy to correct the muscle tightness in their neck and provide them with greater comfort and improved function.

Plagiocephaly

Babies may be born with a flattening to one side of their head, or acquire it after birth. This is known as “Plagiocephaly.” We have helped many children with this diagnosis by beginning Physical Therapy as soon as Plagiocephaly is identified.

TOE-WALKING

You’ve probably observed your toddler spending a lot of time walking on their toes. That’s typical for children under two years of age. After that age, Physical Therapy may be needed to help your child with their gait.

Balance and coordination challenges

Our skilled Physical Therapists can help a child achieve ideal progress on their motor and balance milestones so that they can fully participate in playtime and games with other children and activities around the home.

Pediatric Pelvic Health

Our Pediatric Pelvic Health program helps children suffering from constipation, urinary frequency, fecal leakage, bowel and bladder problems, and difficulties during toilet training.

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

After an injury or surgery, orthopedic rehabilitation can return children to enjoying play and athletics. It also helps with scoliosis, flat feet, kyphosis and lordosis.

Hypotonia/Low Muscle Tone

This therapy helps children improve control over movement and muscles. It is often recommended for children with cerebral palsy or those who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.
