Wendy Kaplan-Lager, PT – Owner/Director Physical Therapy 4 Kids

Meet Wendy Kaplan-Lager, a caring and gentle Pediatric Physical Therapist with over 40+ years of experience treating infants and children. She graduated from Ithaca College in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.

Wendy’s Focus

In addition, Wendy received her certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) in Pediatrics in 1988. Her specialty areas are in evaluating and treating infants and children with Prematurity, Torticollis, Hypotonia, Developmental Delays, Cerebral Palsy, Coordination Disorders, Orthopedic, and Neurologic Impairments and Genetic Disorders.

PT Settings

Wendy has worked in hospital settings, neonatal intensive care units, early intervention programs, pre-school and school-aged special education settings, home care, and private practice. As a professional who enjoys teaching, Wendy also provides workshops and in-service training to medical professionals, parents, and teachers.

Additionally, Wendy, a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as well as the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association (NDTA).
