Meet Wendy, Founder of Physical Therapy 4 Kids

Wendy is an extremely skilled and caring Pediatric Physical Therapist with more than 40 years of experience treating infants and children. She graduated from Ithaca College in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, then received certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment in Pediatrics in 1988. Wendy is a member of the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association.
In 2003, Wendy founded Physical Therapy 4 Kids with a simple vision: to provide exceptional pediatric physical therapy in a warm, compassionate environment where every child and family feels welcomed, supported, and valued. From the very first phone call, families have been greeted with the words, “Welcome to the Physical Therapy 4 Kids Family,” reflecting the philosophy that has guided the practice for more than two decades.
Wendy has dedicated more than 40 years to the field of pediatric physical therapy, serving as a clinician, consultant, administrator, and educator. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, each contributing to her knowledge, expertise, and passion for helping children reach their fullest potential. While every experience has been meaningful, it has always been the collaborative teamwork, shared commitment, and family-centered culture of Physical Therapy 4 Kids that has brought her the greatest professional fulfillment.
Under Wendy’s leadership, Physical Therapy 4 Kids has become known for its nurturing, compassionate care and unwavering commitment to helping children achieve their goals. She has been honored to build lasting relationships with countless families and to work alongside an exceptional team of dedicated professionals who share her passion for pediatric therapy.
In July 2026, Wendy retired after an incredibly rewarding career. Following extensive research and thoughtful consideration, she chose Liberty POST to carry forward the legacy of Physical Therapy 4 Kids because of their shared values and unwavering commitment to children and families. Liberty POST provides a comprehensive continuum of pediatric services for children from birth through 21 years of age, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Early Intervention Service Coordination, Children’s Health Home Care Coordination, Family and Group Supports, and many other specialized services.

While ownership has transitioned, the heart of Physical Therapy 4 Kids remains unchanged.
